This piece is based on the children's nursery rhyme "Three Blind Mice". The idea is based along the same lines as a Big Band piece written in 1956 called "Experiments With Mice" by John Dankworth ("Three Blind Mice" in styles of various bandleaders). In this case, the style concerned is that of my favourite U.S. jazz rock band of the mid 70's, the Brecker Brothers (Michael and Randy).
